Quick mini-meet(s) in Kochi (Cochin)

Yes, we did have a small meet.

Amalji and Deetjohn reached in time. Since there was a Flower Show happening there, we had to shift our base few metres ahead (road towards Fort Kochi). Guess this is the reason why rajoy missed us. I reached the spot by 4pm followed by Vineeth (Speed.demon). As the place was getting crowded, we left by 5.30pm
It was nice meeting you Deepak.

PS - spotted many cars with tbhp stickers on my way to the meet. Details in the sticker spotting thread.

Missed it! I thought the meet was not happening and couldn't check for latest updates in the forum.

In fact, me and 'Recallers' were near Thevara/MG Road area without much to do in the afternoon.

As cool clouds said, let's have a small drive this time.

Somewhere off the beaten path, yet somewhere where we can set out to in the early morning and be back by evening.

What say guys?

Sorry guys. I will not be able to join for a day long drive. I had been away from home for the last three months. If I still go absconding on a Sunday, my wife would be running to the lawyer!!!

I am in for a meet on 31st though

Options I can think -

sholayar dam through ( Athirapally valparai road. ) - 8 to 10 hours trip
Munnar and back ( start by 3 am and return by 2 pm ) . I have done this before and enjoyed the trip.
Wagamon trip ( 8 to 10 hours )
Ramakalmedu ( 8 to 10 hours )

If you are driving to sholayar, rather than doing a touch and back, you could do a circuitous trip. Sholayar- valparai - pollachi - anamalai- kollengod- mannuthy- kochi.

Alternate places- 1) panchalimed
2) parunthumpara
3) thenmala
( these are shorter distances than the ones earlier suggested though )
