But...April 22nd in Pune is going to be boiling! Like about 40+ degree's! May ditch the bike and just drive there.

The road isn't one way. There is absolutely
NO traffic if you get there before say 7:30 am. Even after 7:30 am, the traffic is pretty mild and includes construction material ferry trucks.

Early mornings are cold. We rode with gloves et al but I was sweating on the return journey. I enjoyed it so much that I rode there successively on Saturday and Sunday with different company each time. The saturday ride pics are coming up shortly, courtesy: Technocrat.
EDIT: And now since Desmoquattro has posted the light hints of gravel on the road, "bikers" ye be warned!

heaven forbid) even deeper into May?
If that's a yes, it would be great, as all of us would be getting an average of 58 km/litre from our cars due to the hot air induction. The fact that we'd be going at 48 km/hr should also not be overlooked. :p
