@Parimal_g,

Lovely captures buddy. I am sure you have many more, keep them coming. For resizing you can use Microsoft Office Picture Manager. That in my opinion is the fastest.

VRP, the "yet to bloom" flowers in your pic are alled Karvi (so says the book on Kaas that my sister has) and the next bloom will be in 2015

(as those flowers bloom in a 7 yr cycle).

Btw I came back from Kaas on saturday and saw MX6 on the way to the Bogda in Satara and honked/waved but he was busy negotiating the busy road. Anyhow it would not have worked as I had 2 senior citizens with me and we had to reach Pune by mid-afternoon so next time I'll try and make it (sans family so I can stick to tbhp schedule)

I am game for konkan drive too, I may even go to H'war this week-end depending on circumstances.

parimal, you can use IrfanView to resize, free software and very easy to use.

@Ashishpallod. No need to answer buddy. We are not CWG committee! Let's probably analyse and plug in the gaps to get better co-ordination next time! I have taken some points myself from this trip. We can probably take this offline.

@Parimal. I love those photos. Thanks buddy. Especially, loved the photo with me, Nainar and PjBiju.

@PJBiju. Yes, Balakrishnan he is. Thanks for volunteering with the movies. I have loads of them myself. I'm looking for two vintage comedies and am unable to find those. 1. Mookkilla rajyathe. 2. Aakasha kottayile Sultan.
Next time when you go down south, just see whether you find them anywhere if it's not an issue pal.

@Abhay. Missed you.

Here are some photos I shot randomly at Mahendra.

AP, Pjbiju, Turbo, f1fan (and junior), Khoj and I think the last is gostel (hope I'm right).

Gostel and khoj (if not gostel, two people will bang me).
Drive and Meet: Kaas. Report and Pictures from Pg. 27-meet-2.jpg

Pjbiju, AP, Turbo (AP was very stern looking when he was with wife and kids. Outside he's all smiles. Strict person at home is it?)
Drive and Meet: Kaas. Report and Pictures from Pg. 27-meet-3.jpg

Khoj, Nainar, Bolbolero's wife(?) with the hat.

Now I know why the RD didn't come.

I shall post the photos of members taken at kaas shortly.

@ MX6

Thanks for the lovely pic. It made to the top of 10 most cherrished pics with my father. He is now eager and very comfortable about the next BHPians trip.

Can't hold myself back hitting that F5 key while @ work to check new updates (hope that F5 survives).

The easiest option is Picasa. Just upload the pics to your web albums (there are three different size settings, experiement and use the one you like) And then download all the files from your web album and voila! You are ready to upload as sizes come down to as low as 200 KB!

Best one to resize is Irfanview. Very good one. Try it out. Has got batch conversion too to convert/resize batch of files.

Thanks, Abhay. MX6, could they be related to 'kurinji' flowers?

So, for once, I was in the right place at the right time!!

Guys, all the more reason for keep continuing the meets live and kicking till then.
