Friends , when is the next trip ?. This time around I missed this get together.
It is really cool to see so many like minded fellow BHP-ians . Didn't any mods join this event ? I am sure the non-BHPians must be wondering what all those stickerwalla cars doing on Kaas. From the photos seems you had a great time.
Next time around I am coming also.
AP sir, when and where ?

Amit, please refrain from Back to Back posts. Carrying a infraction tag is a very irritating and sore thing! Better report your own posts to Mods and ask them to merge the same before someone docks you for it.

Dont know but i think i was one of the youngest. That solves the mystery of my young looks. Sorry guys, no mystery potion, no fountain of youth, i know everyone is thoroughly dissapointed. (Secretly thinking in my mind - Now how can anyone compete with me )

Yes, Turbo was wearing befitting attire, Superman he was! Flew at the same speed as well. hehe

Also, Thank you for pushing me out of the mud at the windmill farm. I got a lovely picture out of it. Will be posting it soon.

Smooth, winding roads & listening to the sound of the engine & the FFE echoing all around! Just Fantastic!

The route im talking about is the one ive posted here as Route 1 (Satara Road all the way).
Known by different names to different people (Satara - Medha - Mahabaleshwar)

Finally, before ending this short post, i would like to whole heartedly thank Turboholic (Amit) for all his co-ordination & help. Others, please forgive me for mentioning only him in this post but i think he deserves it & most of you will agree.
On a personal note, he happily dropped us all the way till the starting of the route to Mahabaleshwar (like he said "i will drop you till from where you will not have to take any turns).
Cheers to you mate
Here is the short video i promised:

@Turboholic - We all are awaiting your say about the whole trip. And yes, you do have a crazy bike. Great to see that you enjoy riding to the fullest.

@Iqbalveerji - Sincere Condolences & i pray for you & your family to get through this difficult time.

Phew! Am exhausted! Pictures from my side will follow soon, after a quick break. (Reminds me of Spruce & Parimal's numerous "breaks") LOL

SV, I think the second picture of the lake (water body, rather) is that of Bamnoli, right. Looks like you went there in the morning. Were you able to get a boat ride? Great pictures...

Xehaust, those are great snaps....

I tried to record in my Satguide navigator but none of the roads we took to Kaas were Satguide maps. They had a good map of Satara upto the tunnel and the road to Mahabaleshwar was mapped as well but no Kaas/ Sajjangad/Windmill roads. Even then I lost my way to NH4 in Satara as the stupid device asked me to take some State highways to reach Pune and I had to resort to time tested ways of asking people and Satara had one too many eager to help.

Mobile phone maps also would not have worked possibly because the network coverage was sketchy. But the tracks could have been recorded and overlapped against Google maps I suppose.
