| BHPian  | Hey guys, Extra late, but i have arrived. Will write a detailed post by tomorrow (including replying to everyone) & add a few pictures as well. Have gone through the entire thread & it was indeed a most memorable experience. This is just a short post to let everyone know im finally here  & that it was a real pleasure meeting everyone.The driving & the places visited were an excellent experience & im ecstatic to have made it. In other news, we reached Mahabaleshwar safe & sound without any hiccups & yes, the drive was out of this world. Highly recommended! Even took a short video which i will upload & post here. The route was recommended by almost everyone i asked & even though it was at night & we did not see any scenery, the night added to the experience of the drive by heightening the sense of sound. Smooth, winding roads & listening to the sound of the engine & the FFE echoing all around! Just Fantastic! The route im talking about is the one ive posted here as Route 1 (Satara Road all the way). Known by different names to different people (Satara - Medha - Mahabaleshwar) Finally, before ending this short post, i would like to whole heartedly thank Turboholic (Amit) for all his co-ordination & help. Others, please forgive me for mentioning only him in this post but i think he deserves it & most of you will agree. On a personal note, he happily dropped us all the way till the starting of the route to Mahabaleshwar (like he said "i will drop you till from where you will not have to take any turns). | A few more pictures A tree on the way up to Sajjangad.  Thoseghar waterfall. 1 sec exposure. The best I could manage under the circumstances without a tripod.  Temple at Sajjangad  Guess where this was  Another shot of the Sajjangad temple top  @parimal. You have put up some nice shots. -Biju |
