Got all the requests
1. NXT liquid for Sohail
2. NXT Paste for Notorious
3. NXT Paste for Nirmal
Will keep you guys posted as and when people start coming in. Just got to know that a very close friend will go in May End. I can load him with anything i want.
Any takers for 3M show car paste wax? That is supposed to be equal and better than NXT! Going to buy and check out the 3M Performance Finish Wax too.
Also going to load up the Supreme Shine Micro cloths, a neighbor just bought his new Figo and took detailing lessons, took my last extra set of Supreme Shine seeing them in action!!Hope to have a decent stock of stuff in the next 2 months, then my store is open

You're welcome buddy. Remember that the market in India has just started it's upward journey and in future, you'll have world class products easily available provided the importers take early note of the market. Even Xenos' Turtle Wax has availability issues now.

If its painted, then normal paint polishes and wax will do!

if its straight away fibre, then Formula1's 'Shine it all' will help!
other plastic polishes are good too!

but you cant wax, if there's no paint!

@Sohail, Meguiars refused on G220. How about we club together and order from US?or from 20north what say? AEG sander polsiher for rs13.4/ is expensive.

Thanks for the suggestions @sohail.
I was talking about the regular painted bumpers like we have in i10 and i20 which are made of fiber.
So according to you then i can use the Tech Wax on that right ?

Yup!! any painted bumper is just like the other panels on the car!

the stuff beneath the paint doesn't matter!

Go TechWax2.0

Need help in cleaning the alloy

There are few stain marks in my Linea's alloy wheel. Looks like some liquid is being splashed on the alloy.

Tried removing the stain with 3M rubbing compound and later with Diesel but to no avail.

Need your expert help in removing the stain and restoring to its original glory.

rubbing compound on alloy stains??? maybe a specialized alloy cleaner like the ones sold by Turtle Wax and Meguiars can help. Maybe even the Formula 1 alloy wheel cleaner

Try NC paint thinner. Should work as it worked on my alloys. Handle with care though - that stuff is EXTREMELY inflamable.

@ALL

Whats the primary difference between a random orbital polisher and a dual action polisher? Or is it the same thing as some google links suggest?

Dual action polishers are also called orbital polishers for this reason.

EEks! How did it get to this state ? You have not been kind to your wheels mate.

Your alloys are PAINTED. You should treat them like the body of your car. Do not use anything on them which you will not use on your car body. The black mouldy stuff should go away with a wheel cleaner. You can try detailing clay to get rid of the stains. Use the medium one. Rubbing compound of the correct grade should also work. As a desperte measure you can try wet sanding the surface (3000 grit to start with). And then wax and seal the paint.I will recommend take it to your dealer for inspection before sanding it. If that does not work you will have to get them repainted.

Regards
