Re: The Fuel Additives Thread

For Bs4 Petrol cars, at what kilometer intervals is it advisable to perform a single round of adding additive to tankful of petrol?

The usual interval is every alternate tank or every 2 tanks. Depending on the cost it might be cheaper to use premium fuel which does the same thing

Go for Wurth, Liqui Moly or ABRO. All are good ones.
For regular use, try Adon-D or System-D.

Re: The Fuel Additives Thread

Hi
I have added half a can of Liqui Moly Super Diesel additive to my RWD Thar Diesel. Let me see how it goes. It costs about Rs. 685 on Amazon.
Cheers

I have added the other half of the can to the subsequent tankful of diesel and must say the transformation is remarkable. On my recent trip to Bengaluru and back, I was very impressed with the smooth nature of the engine. I am planning to continue using this with every tankful hereon.
Cheers

I have used this sometime back on a tankful and yes it did make a noticeable difference unlike some other fuel additives I had tried on my diesel Aspire. You can also try LM Speedtec diesel additive which I felt was better.
Another one you can try is Cetane-X which may not be too suitable for a Thar since it smoothens out the engine when in high revs, especially on a tuned one.

Using it in every alternate tankful would be enough from my experience.

Re: The Fuel Additives Thread

Hi
I did a 100 km run on my Interceptor today after adding the additive, and, man, was I blown?
The bike was so smooth and vibe free at phenomenal rpm and speeds.
Very much impressed.
Cheers

Hello Mr. Rajeevsulu!

I am also on the lookout for an additive for my Venue Diesel.. Could you please share the amazon link to the product you bought? I am a little doubtful as to which one of the following I should get.

Have you tried using IOCL's Xtrageen diesel ? Said to be good for the BS6 diesels, and with additives already in it
