The Senior Works manager at Dhingra was telling me that apparently Lumax have these 55/60 ones which are now available for fogs as well as the standard headlamps - he is planning to fit them on his Indica. Not sure how they compare with the Osram or Philips though

Guys I would suggest you go to the philips distributor in CP if you want to be sure of genuine parts.
Delhi is the hub of Chor Bazaari, and it would be a miracle to get an original bulb there.

quality of light, life.
Even the markings are a little flimsy. Not properly "machined".

Any contact number and address of the official distributor?

Checked in Lajpat Nagar and the shop owners look at me like i am an alien when i mention Vision plus. They got plenty of diamond vision/crystal vision etc.

Also checked few places in rajouri garden where one guy said he could source it from karol Bagh but said they cost 1200/-

Dont understand whats going on....

contact speedonline guys. He knows the number.
Otherwise pick up Autocar India, and look at the philips adverts. they have the North Zone Delhi number.

Go to the distrubutor fellows, why take the risk of fake bulbs. If you can't wait, buy halonix

Is Philips Vision Plus compatible with FIAT UNO?

The OE bulb details are as follows:

GE H4 12V 60/55W 50440U E1 2D7 HUNGARY C

Can anybody tell me whether its available anywhere in Trivandrum or Cochin?

If you get lower voltage, i.e. 11 volts for a 12V bulb light output will drop by 20%
is there any solution for this, can the coil be rewinded
then we can expext the real throw of light form the bulb. pls suggest.
