@gto.... I think this cupholder keeping the drink cool idea is rubbish. Would it not stop the flow of cold air to the passengers?

Excellent review GTO, very detailed and complete as usual, I guess its time we also make sure that the reviews are somehow copyrighted..since they are more detailed, down to earth and offer much more in terms of content.

It is a matter of pride for me to know that WE are being invited to car launches which means auto manufacturers have started to look at T-BHP with more respect....now if only this extends to some other European manufacturers.....I will shut up before I "instigate" them.

btw, I found the rear seats a bit hard, was this your view as well ? I thought the cushioning was lower than usual to allow for the "magic" in them....except that the magic has reached India 7 years later.

Now confirmed, my next car is either GP or i20. Suddenly i20 Asta(O) looks to be a terrible VFM. (10bhp - Jazz)

Now what FIAT is going to do? I afraid they may price GP 1.3 MJD E+ little above i20 ASTA. My heart is beating little fast.

It seems like June 17th is couple of years away

Great Review GTO

I sincerely wish that the Jazz flops in the market so that Honda stops taking Indian market for granted on pricing front.

This yet again makes the fabulous i20 seem so much better car, I think the Jazz should help in increasing the sales of i20. I already see so many of them on roads.

Its not the only place to keep the cup in the car so if you want to keep it chilled then keep the cup there

This makes i20 quite affordable. I am sure its sales will increase.
By the way great review! GTO and just eagerly awaiting the same for Fiat Punto.
cheers!

pedals are sporty and good there is a footrest too. very few cars come with a footrest which i presonally feel is very useful in long drives.

Well written review GTO!
Hoping that you get an invite from Fiat as well for the GP.

Honda have kept the target of 20000 per year, lower than the City numbers. I am not sure if they are going to meet the target. I hope that this will be a big flop, and Honda learns from this. When you command a premium for your brand, you are also expected to provide some basic features along with your premium H badge.

I can't understand the logic of not having USB port. Whatever Honda said justifying Honda City with only USB doesn't hold now? Why can't people have both CD player as well as USB?

No footrest available, just a rubber grip

Cheers!

The New Jazz might burst the Honda bubble with its pricing. People are not going to accept just about anything that comes from Honda stables especially if it does not even have features of a car some 1.5 lac cheaper.

Jazzzzzz..zzz.zzz

Very nice and balanced review.

I wish this car fails miserably. It doesnt look half as good as an i20 (Punto shouldnt even be compared), the engine is a disappointment for the enthusiasts, they've scrimped on equipment and then they've gone and priced it sky high.

Grr. I wish I could be half as impartial as the reviewer.

@ GTO: Great review mate !

I would be more than happy to pay 6.5-7 OTR for this thing. In pune its gonna cost a bomb.

Nevertheless the interiors look great. But I still love Civic's cockpit view

160 mm GC is to optimistic for Indian Road Civic is already famous for this GC issue.
Dont know the Jazz pricing also may follow the path of Hybrid CIVIC.

I think it is more than 8L.

Base version = 7.15 + 0.80(Road Tax) + 0.20 Approx( Insurence) + 0.10 (Misc) = 8.25L.

Active version Add 40 K. i.e 8.65L.
