The local sales guy has no clue what all this means
Extended warranty can be purchased for 1 years (ie. 2+1 years) & 2 years (ie. 2+2 years).

I really have no clue about TMP though as my knowledge of sales is quite limited.

Tata-Fiat is feeling the heat. Just couple of hours back I was in Pune showroom to cancel my previous booking. They showed me a xerox'd brochure where first few pages contained detailed information about Figo (!) and then comparison with Punto 1.4 and 1.2.
I was surprised with their eager attitude to sell cars as compared to apathy shown a couple of months back.

There's a 'dog bar' in the Figo. Atleast I think that's what it is. It's behind the black horizontal part of the bumper where the number plate is fixed. Tried drilling the bumper to fix the plates but the dog bar played spoilsport. How do you fix the number plates on the front? Drill thorough the steel plate?

Isn't there a screw nut on the front to fix the plates? At least that's what I saw on the Figo test car earlier today.

There's one right in the center of the bumper but that's not for the number plates. The plates can't be fixed with that. (I think)

Does the fiesta manual actually say that?

My Fusion manual says whatever i just said. Maybe for fiesta its different then as my ikon & fusion manual say that not to add any additives.
For petrol they recommend System G, but for Diesel they don't recommend System D. (I cross checked with the service managers and they said that don't put SyStem D in the diesel)

Some service managers do recommend. When my dad complained to service manager that sometimes theres excess smoke from the exhaust in our Fiesta TDCi, service manager recommended to add System D to Diesel. Whether its a sound or lame advice, I have no idea.

2. In the petrol version, under the bonnet, towards the left hand side, I have seen what I believe is a motor, with exposed copper wires. Won't this motor, or whatever it is, conk off if it gets switched on when wet?
@ Ford guys could you please answer these?

Revy
Could you do me a favor? could you ask them if they have the petrol Exi or Zxi in stock? If they do they then please update me on the same.

I will go over and make a full payment and hopefully get the car by the weekend.
