@ np23

Nice pictures and comparison of Rear seats
Both the cars have their own uniqueness and am Glad that you own both of them.

A wish of mine may be in years to come I to want to own one of these

My heartily congratulations for your new Cruz.

Me too took delivery of our White Beat LT on 16th May from Metro Chevy. I was so impressed by the dealer and SP Durgesh. After a little hesitation they provide my desired registration number even without any extra payment.

Wishing you happy miles with your Cruz.

Cheers!

Thanks alot buddy.
Which showroom did you take your beat's delivery from? Safdarjung or Vasant Kunj?
Even I am very happy with the dealer but they charged me 10,000Rs for a VIP number but I dont have a problem with that as every person charges you for that.
It has been a great experience till now.....and I hope it continues like this.
Congratulation on your Beat as well how is it going and is it still beating your heart or was it just there during the intial few days.?

By the way, where is the LCD screen above the Music System controls? :o

@james
Thanks alot for the wishes.
there is no proper LCD screen as such ,the smulti information screen itself though is great and is present above the music system but as the car was switched off while I took the photo that is the reason the screen is black.
But you cannot compare these three cars (ANHC/Cruze/Linea even after the t-jet engine) as the Cruze belongs to the civic,laura..... category.
Decide on the basis of your budget but if that is no problem then Cruze automatic is the best choice.
Though it is expensive in Bangalore. How much is the exact road tax now in Bangalore?

You are the first one here to put pics of the interiors of Auto version of the car and they sure look pretty with the stick .

Enjoy your Long drives with this beauty

Road Tax is quite high over here in Bangalore (guess it's the highest in the country)! I TD-ed ANHC VAT recently and the OTR price runs close to 12 now
I completely agree that Cruze belongs to a different category altogether than Linea & ANHC ...I probably have the budget for a Linea/ANHC; but am too tempted to stretch it that bit more for the Muscular power & beauty of the Cruze (need the nod from my Home Dept. though). Never felt similarly tempted to go for Civic/Altis though!

Thank mxx! age is catching up with me.

That explains the low RPM figures. I should have realised it!

Thanks Dhal gagan,JJames,trrk,shatrughna
@dhall gagan :- Hope you buy it early.
I took a test drive from Metro Chevrolet from Safdarjung and later from Regent
Chevrolet.
I had gone to Metro once and asked for a test drive of the auto version but they diidnt have one then and they called me after one week and they had it for quite some time but I think now they have sold it to someone at a little discount.
Then before booking I took a test drive from Regent auto and he gave me a test drive which was to be delivered the next day and I was a bit surprised as to how can they give a test drive on a car that is too be delivered the next day and its rear bumper had a big tent and when I asked about it ,he said that we will geet it repaired in the body shop but I dont know why I stilll booked my cruze with them first though finally it was not to be....but I am very busy and out of Delhi for most of the month so might not be possible before last week of june.
I stay in SOuth delhi in Jasola

@JJames :-Bangalore road tax is still pretty high. The ANHC VAT now after road tax hike costs about 10.60L in Delhi on road

Friends I am on a holiday in kashmir so I might not be able to reply as quickly as before and might reply late

Congrats

Hello Lucky boy,

That is one hell of a massive upgrade. Cruze is the latest heartbeat. I love the styling and power. The best interiors i have ever seen. With 3 years maintenance pack, it is a good buy. If i may add, i could not see the rear a/c vents in the pics. Is it there at the roof or missing in this car.

Happy Miles

Congradulations NP!!!... Hope you are having a rocking time with your cruze.. Excellent comparisons between Civic and Cruze, i had all these questions inspite of test driving both. Thanks for the pics, they are very helpful...

I heard the Cruze 2010 version has turn indicators on ORVMs, is it true?. Do you see any other changes?. I was hoping they will change the tyres from JK Vectras, which has become a necessity now..

How much did you get for the OEM tyres during the trade in?.Any particular reason for choosing Continental over Michelin??

I think diesel is the way to go especially in India where diesel enjoys a nice subsidy.

Congratulations! This is surely a diesel rocket! Wooooosshhh!
