Driving through Chennai

Superb Photolog. Being from Chennai, I haven't seen that many roads and places without the usual traffic. I could and did recognize a lot of places in the pictures and I should admit that I don't recognize an equal number of pics.

In my opinion, the loss of hoardings, in most places are for good; however I have also noticed that some junctions have become quite dark without the lights from the hoardings. (We, as an Owners' association, have lost a major revenue coming out of an advertisement hoarding that was installed on the roof of our building).

Nick, Pics are not as clear as they used to be. I dont think its the camera. Probably inconsistent driving causing the camera to shake. who was driving ?

And apart from the driver, I think there is the car factor also.
@nick, was it a Hyundai you were being driven around in, by any chance ?

The car is an Accent CRDi and the driver was headers. This is all i am going to say.We shall discuss these photographs in detail tomorrow, i hope.

I happened to be in the 'mood' to take pics while driving today. It is a very dangerous sport and i do not recommend it to anyone. Hope you like this set of pics.l I had to upload them in another site and then do the same here due to size issues. A lot of hard work goes into this.

nick, for size issues, you could download IrfanView (freeware) and it will batch-optimise your snaps in a jiffy. Set the resolution to 50-60% and the file size would be reduced by 1/3rd or more. Not that hard work.
Ofcourse, do agree that taking snaps from a car (especially when one is driving) is tough. Atleast I find it tough.
