You could ask your wife to drive or you can ask her to take the snaps. Unless you are fooling us about living in NY & just slipping into kasimedu for 2 months to take a break from us monotonous C-BHPians.

Ok, here are few snaps to keep this thread going.

Once I chased a covered up Getz, which was being shielded by two sonata's all the way from Vellore to Kanchipuram byepass. It went to a stage where the guys stopped there car to prevent me taking a snap. Did I leave? I waited for half an hour at a point about 1/2 a km away to snap it. As a matter of fact I have had 3 scoops published till date, Getz, Ford Fiesta variant, Tvs Scooty Teenz.

Will try to keep this thread going, unfortunately the pictures taken by me could be biased by my thoughts sorry for that. Most pics taken through 6210
navigator.

For a city that has had its share of water scarcity, not to forget the almost summer conditions through out the year and a very short monsoon span, Chennai has a lot of greenery in the traffic islands, which even cities like Bangalore cannot claim. Over the course of last one year since I came back to Chennai from Bangalore I have noticed that most of these seem to be maintained well as well.

Very true srikanth. Not just the traffic islands, even the roadsides & everywhere. I was surprised the first time I saw Chennai on Google maps, it is covered with green. Since the ban on hoardings, chennai is much more green now.

Has anyone noticed the newly built flyover near airport. In the evening and night it looks like a picnic spot. Most of the motorist stop over the flyover to get the full view of the airport!

Now 2 traffic constables has been posted on top of the flyover to stop people parking their car on top of the flyover.

I went past this spot last week and i thought that a filmshooting must be going on to attract such a crowd. The police presence seemed to confirm this but only after reading your post i understood the real reason

Yeah, it rarely works, I cross that everyday and its scary to see idiots standing in the middle of a flyover and that too with all kinds of vehicles literally blocking 1 or 2 lanes.

We are like pigs, you know, 1 pig stops to look and all the others do the same, Extremely frustrating

Sorry, no offense to anyone!

There was a news that a motorist was killed on the flyover, on the same day it was opened. without the sign-boards on those initial days, this guy was travelling on a opposite direction, early in the morning and got hit..

There was a big hue and cry, and they installed sign boards in a hurry.
