Who gets to drive these fancy cars that one can buy in India nowadays?. Drivers. Can they read the signs?. Lucky the tow truck didn't come calling on that street at that time. Attached are a few pics i omitted to post yesterday.

Finally, i had the chance to visit downtown and by the time i was done with the reason for me going there it was late evening and all i could manage were a few shots of the courthouse and the main streets. Next time i plan to take a walk through the historic streets of Armenian town and the bustling business district.Downtown is a fun place to hang out full of narrow streets selling everything from electronics to different kinds of food from all over the planet!. The infamous Burma bazaar is also located there and the one pic itook of a portion of this market got blinded by the evening sun's rays. Next time!.

This set of pics begins with driving in front of Fort St. George, which is the seat of the TN Govt. and legislature(didn't take a pic of the Fort complex as too many cops were hanging around near traffic intersection!.), the main streets of the downtown business district, the spires of the court through the thicket of trees and the last pic is of a stretch of Anna Salai(Mount Road) between Spencer Plaza and Tarapore Towers during evening rush hour. There's so much more to see.

I never have any luck spotting imports. It's not that i go looking for them, but it is annoying that they always drive in the opposite direction!. I saw a metallic brown Porsche911 Carrera speeding by in the opposite direction on Nungambakkam High Road last Sunday, towards Sterling Road. Maybe 'mlcarrera' will know whom it belongs to!. Anyways, this is what i saw yesterday afternoon as i drove around doing some chores. Atleast, it will give you a feel of what's popular among Chennai-ites in the 4-wheel category!. Not even a percent, but i hope you like the ones i chose to click. I liked them!.I can tell about a city by the cars it keeps.
