Never knew my city looked so good. I guess one only looks at the dull side in our daily lives. If only we had Carl Zeiss lens for eyes, the world would look so much more different.

I drove over the new GN Chetty Road flyover today. The fourth pic is of the new flyover. While i question the need for a flyover in that location, it did feel nice driving on it!.Why not?.

The reason for this flyover is that the traffic coming from the Vidyodaya school side of TP road has to wait for close to 10 mins to cross the GN chetty road junction during peak hours. But i think the one way system that they used during the construction of this flyover could have solved the problem cheaply rather than the construction of this flyover.

Another set of "Driving around Chennai" pics. I drove by one of the Merc showrooms here the other day and they were moving cars in and out of the dealership and i decided to stop and take a look!. The guys were really cool and one of the salesman took me on a drive in a new S-class that he was showing to a potential customer. Dressing well always helps i guess. Anyways, i had a fun time checking out the Mercs in the showroom and enjoyed myself thanks to the nice guys there.Pics from the above episode are in this post.

selective photos only?How it will be if the suburbs where water itself is a hard thing to find?the untidy streets? OTOH ,Salem,Coimbattoor cities looks great(less slum areas).

Sir, no city is perfect. Please also keep in mind, Chennai is a city of 5+ million, compared to Coimbatore's population of 1 million. With any city of Chennai's proportions the facts you mentioned are unavoidable.
However, thing can always be improved - goes for any city.
