Try to take some pictures along the velachery-thirumangalam stretch, you can find plenty of traffic.

Thanks to @Roy.S and @anekho for the pics.The murals are inspiring.I was driving on Beach Road today and was surprised to see the new landscaping and sidewalks complete, looking quite nice. I couldn't take pics but i will soon.

Is it just me, because i've been noticing that the sun sets earlier than usual in the evenings?. A slight change in the weather pattern?. The pic below was taken at 5:45pm!.

It is not just you: I was really surprised to find it dark just after 6.00pm the other night. Not usually out at that time, so have missed the progression.

But monsoon! Where is the monsoon!

Hope you'll give us some Chennai-rain pics when it does come!

Marina Beach makeover. Clean walkways, landscaping, clean sand, big concrete balls and no stray dogs. I hope it stays like it is. What is your view?.I must remember to ask @esteem_lover about the concrete balls in one of the pics. He knows everything.

Some extra pics from my last visit to marina beach and some cars. I saw some really nice murals painted outside the 'Adyar Poonga(park)' but i couldn't take pics. Maybe some other time. January is a much nicer time to roam around Chennai.

Its a Euro market Jeep Wrangler (4 door). CRD means it has a VM 2.8L 4 cyl diesel.

You need them to drive on Mount Road during the rush hour

. The kamikaze bikers of Madras are a species unique to the city. Any idea why the 2 wheelers ride like the hounds of hell are after them.
