It can surely be restored but need lot of body work on it and its not worth the price being quoted on it. That's what i think .

If its a Delhi car, you need to be doubly careful. I've seen more than many Delhi cars and feel its better stay away from them (Not being rude or offensive)

Almost all the classics i've seen belonging to Delhi are "Jugaad"

People have used cheapest of the cheap spares available for replacement.

A simple example, and a MUST observe
1) Using Tin sheet to replace MS floor pan
2) Using Solex carb with a Pacco top"
3) Using spark plugs with broken porcelien stuck with quick fix
4) Welding the engine mounts
5) Taped Spark plug cables which are cut
6) Cracked fuel lines are stuck using quick fix
7) Topping up enigne oils
8) Spray paint using vacuum cleaner at home

This should not be since its a big decision for a buyer when "Classics available for purchase" and these are only my observations.

Sir i have seen cars that are even worse off and don't have original engines. I had seen a Mark 2 jaguar with a amby engine in it and the owner insisted its original .

Anyway lets see what this car is about. Will follow up tomorrow.

This was a RHD 6 cylinder version and was with a South Delhi dealer.
I believe it was sold quite some time back.

IIRC, the asking price was around 5.5 Lakh and the car was in average condition.
Don't know how much it went for though.
