These videos were shared with me of something very unique - a Standard 2000 dispatched to Perth, Australia in 1988 and with negligible mileage even today. What a perfect specimen for reference!

Here is a picture from a book released with the launch of the Standard Vanguard. Some parts spoke about extensive testing the world over, including this image shot in Bombay - I assume a pre-production vehicle or very early model. Note this is a 'long door' model, where the bottom of the doors overlap the sills.

Aside, these pics. seem to have been taken by insurance companies of cars involved in accidents during survey, for settling claims?
