Karlosdeville, the lower photo shows the owners card, the previous owner was scratched out when a new owner was listed, so this car was owned by Jobson then Sir Buhpal, then Mr. Singh

Pictures of my car in Austria at various places. There are some pictures of when my drive shaft broke. I replaced it with a drive shaft from a firm in Vienna. The biggest problem with that was they did not make the indentation deep enough, but almost deep enough for the piece that protrudes from the differential. I finally figured it out, took it back, and they made it deeper.

There is a legend that the car took Top Honours at a prestigious European Concours, though it was not officially entered. The Maharajah just happened to be vacationing in the same locale.

A great book which mentions some of the Rolls Royce Armoured Cars on duty in India...
These were similar to those used by T E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) in the Arab Revolt and beyond (1915 etc).

And here is a replica from the Royal Automobile Museum in Jordan.

This is the Jaipur Phantom II, Chassis 89MW. H.H. Sawai Man Singh of Jaipur is in the dark uniform on the steps.

Notice the "Rooster" Lalique hood ornament - a similar one seems to be on the ex-Jaipur Bentley 6.5L these days. I may have also seen it on Maharani Gayatri Devi's Bentley, so it might still be with the family.

This R-R also had a "Horse Head" hood ornament at one time.
