This 1936 Rolls Royce 25/30HP 2D FHCoupe by J Gurney Nutting for sale now, was in India as a demonstration car at some point.

This sophisticated lady has an interesting history as it has travelled around the world; 1936 from England to India as a demonstration car, in 1939 back to England, in the 70’s to USA, California, in the 90’s back to England, and finally now in Finland since 2001.
In India when the car was new it was test driven by Maharadza of Kotah Sir Umed ll Singhji Bahadur (1873 – 1941).

The tyres were "all white". In the early years, adding carbon black during vulcanization was optional. Eventually I guess they figured out that it was beneficial.

At a wedding in Hyderabad this Vizianagaram RR is seen

The Maharaja of Vizianagaram's Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, seen here at a Royal Wedding in Hyderabad, was customised into the shape of a boat, as he wanted an auspicious car to ferry the family deity in ceremonial processions. The maharaja also had the car built with a silver body instead of steel, which was considered unlucky.

These are PANNA State cars - the RR should be Silver Ghost 109BW.

A picture of the Buick has been posted before (thanks to moralfibre). I cannot upload attachments with this reply, will do that tonight.

This the Chamber of Princes Meeting, Delhi 1927. The Viceroy's car on the extreme right, with Bahawalpur next to it (believe it is Silver Ghost 70TM).

Good afternoon all.
In with the many old photos and newspaper cuttings I have got, sadly all of which are undated, is this RR from the Maharajah of Patiala.
It doesn't look like a royal registration. Anyone have any ideas what the reg. was?
