That car looks like a TC and not a TD at all. Kindly refer to the picture attached of a 1954 MG TD.

It does of course look earlier than a TD, I just mentioned what was mentioned originally on the link.

Your post quoted that a TD can be seen here with an attachment of a TC photograph and a link of a TC which says TD.So , it wasn't quite clear that's the reason i pointed it out nothing else.

this lives somewhere in Lavelle Road i think.
Ive seen a gentleman of middle years driving it about - usually wearing one of those nice old tartan/ tweed golf caps.

I had earlier posted pics of this MG which was lying in Lonavala.
I believe that this car along with a 1936 Merc have finally been rescued, and have gone to/are going to Jaipur for restoration.
I have seen these cars about 20 years ago, that time the Merc was white, MG was as seen in these pictures, Merc had original headlight glasses with the Merc logo etched on them, only one door was removed and lying in the car. Now the chassis of both cars are completely rotten, and the engine head being of aluminium will probably have to be made new. A worthy but expensive project.
All the best, hopefully the new owner will post some pictures, also of condition today, and yes he is a tbhp-ian!

. Any guesses who?
