UM Motorcycles reveals dealer network details

UM Motorcycles India has officially shared details on its dealer network through its Facebook page. As per the image shared, the dealer network will include showrooms in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Lucknow, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Thane, Kolhapur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Kochi, Coimbatore, Chennai, Madurai, Guwahati, Imphal and Aizawl, among other locations.

After showcasing the brand's product range at the 2014 Auto Expo, UM Motorcycles officially launched three models from its Renegade range of cruisers at the 2016 Auto Expo.

The Renegade Sport S (Rs. 1.49 lakh ex-showroom Delhi) and Renegade Commando (Rs. 1.59 lakh ex-showroom Delhi) have already been available for online bookings, while the Renegade Classic (Rs. 1.69 lakh ex-showroom Delhi) will be available from June 2016. At the 2016 Auto Expo, it was officially confirmed that 30 dealers had already been appointed, with 20 more expected by May-June 2016.

UM Motorcycles India is headquartered in New Delhi, with manufacturing being carried out at Lohia Auto's plant in Kashipur, Uttarakhand. The Renegade series currently has localization level of around 70% - expected to rise to 85-90% in the next 3-4 months.

Both, the Renegade Commando and Renegade Sport S get a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 279.5cc engine that makes over 24 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 21.8 Nm of torque @ 7,000 rpm, with the engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
