Hey,

Did not receive your PM, the workshop is located very close to Hebbal.

With some regular updates now.

This process of fitting your parts after painting is even more painful, Almost one year since i had all the fittings removed.

Job done as on date.

1) Fixed the rear tail light assembly- Stock and original part.

2) Fixed rear reverse indicator light - This is my idea to detail it with a round white lenses. looks cool as per me, tough not original. But very functional yet retro.

3) Fixed the front side indicator lenses - Original Hella unit from the vehicle.

4) All the glasses fixed

5) Engine is all assembled- manifold to attach the zen carb is being done, this is done more for better running of the Bus.- Though one side intake manifold is missing.

6) All original grab handles inside the bus roof fitted- Original and from the vehicle.

7) Door pads and seats given to the upholsterer- waiting for my brother to give instructions to the upholstrer, god knows when will he find time

Things to do:

1) Paint the Wheel rims - same two tone, white and yellow
2) Paint black on the dashboard and other parts under the chassis
3) Paint the Bumpers white.

Some pics to do some talking, anyone can add if i am missing something somewhere.

BTW Thats the pic of my painter, holding the VW monogram

Thank you very much shaju.

$@~t#o$# had initially promised me a parking space at his home. But now purposely he's started stacking up vehicles (on a buying spree) so that he doesn't have to give me place ( In lighter vein)

Thanks for the offer $@~t#o$#, but yay...... today morning my immediate neighbour parted with 15 x 6 ft covered parking space for me.

Now the Bus is coming home this weekend. : )
