It’s nice to know that I have company. When I applied for membership, I got two approval messages at a short span of 3 minutes. It felt like heaven.

I did something similar, posted on Facebook, updated my status on whatsapp, called few loved ones and told them the beautiful news.. :)

Well, I was not able to sleep yesterday after my membership had been accepted. My excitement and my emotions were just like a kid when I saw the mail that your membership has got approved. First I couldn't believe it but then I had become a bhpian. Immediately I shopped for the famous LTD stickers & the keychain for my car.

You know you are addicted when 1) you spend more time on tbhp app than fb or whatsapp
2) when you are upset, about everything in the world as the app wouldn't connect to the server due limited internet at sea and the whole thing just keeps going round and round.

I have gone to the extend of sticking the team-BHP sticker on my helmet. So that fellow BHPians can spot me when I am riding my Royal Enfield and am not driving my car.

You start taking photo of weird stuff and leave scenic beauty or family moments for someone else to capture.

Check for stickers on vehicles and you are more excited to see a tbhp sticker than a kid is at seeing spiderman.

Instead of reading a car owners manual you go through the long term ownership thread

You know you are addicted to Team BHP when the reviews on car mags serve as information to be ignored and you wait till there are hands on reviews from Team BHP.

When you ask for access to team-BHP.com in your Office. That too with a reason of getting technical reference data, or Stick a Live to Drive Sticker on your desk as well

Or you take your mobile to loo to read all the posts instead of your regular newspaper and sit on the potty for unforeseen time to the utter dismay of your family.

Just so! In fact several of my neighbours (living in the same society in Mumbai), particularly the younger ones, once they found I had become a member, started cold-shouldering me! I learned subsequently that they - at least two of them - had failed to get membership despite several attempts!

At this point I realised that getting membership here is rather akin to getting membership at the Lucknow Golf Club!

By the way, I still haven't cut the Gordian Knot at the Lko Golf Club - despite being a Lko resident since the late sixties!

When you stick a team-bhp sticker on a company laptop and then the local IT guys sends an email to your manager about hampering with company assets. Unfortunately, had to remove the sticker with some exchange of words..

When my wife asks me to check something for her online on laptop or mobile and I open a browser/unlock my phone and then unconsciously go to team-bhp.com and start reading the latest posts completely forgetting what I was asked to do. :)

Or

When in office, during a break, instead of taking a coffee/engaging in chit chat in order to relax, you log on to team-bhp, where reading a few threads/posts and responding to a few questions relaxes you.
