Re: Seat Covers: Imperial INC (Bangalore)

Changed the seat covers of my Seltos at Imperial Leathers. Spoke to Shiva first who asked me to visit their shop, review materials, designs and their workmanship before taking a call. So went there last Saturday and finalized the design and selected "Montana" grade. To match with the gray elements in my car, I chose gray with some red elements. I chose a set of 7D mats as well.

Over the past week, Shiva followed up with some queries that he had about my design preferences and finally yesterday, he called to remind me for today's visit.

As promised, I reached his place by 10:05 am and his men were waiting. In the next 15 mins, they had dismantled all the seats and started their work. By 12:30, the car was ready and I was on my way out. Very happy with the output (fit/finish and design implementation).

I have done the cover with Shiva earlier and my feedback is located in the thread below. PM me if you need more information.

Re: Seat Covers: Imperial INC (Bangalore)

I wanted to brighten up the interiors of our Silver Swift, hence got the seat covers done from Imperial in Grey colour upholstery. As usual, great work done by Shiva and his team. Attaching few pics:

Also got the floor mats done which gives a good coverage. These mats are sourced by Shiva from a supplier and installed at his place. The finishing of the mats is better than similar looking one's, available in other shops. Attaching few pics:

I would recommend Imperial to everyone who want to get their car's seat covers done.

Do they have an option for fabric seat covers as well? I do not prefer art leather or leather

Re: Seat Covers: Imperial INC (Bangalore)

Hi All, what’s the typical pricing range and the type of quality available at Imperial Leather? I’m from Hyderabad and struggling to find out options for my hycross as I only see Stanley as an option and they have increased their prices few days back which is making is tooo costly for me.

Any options in Hyderabad any of you are aware of?

If you are looking for real leather, then Imperial has limited options (1 variety with few color options if I remember correctly). They quote price based on car model. Call them up and see if they can procure specific variety of leathers for you.

Apart from Stanley, you can also call other dealers in Bangalore such as Ovion and Marvin and get their quotes.

For Hyderabad, the last I checked few years ago, I couldn't find any organized leather seat maker but a good starting point would be to visit some good accessories shops in Banjara/Jubilee and ask for reference.

Re: Seat Covers: Imperial INC (Bangalore)

Hello!

Does anyone here know if the guys at Imperial INC provide reparing services as well? My car's seat bolster are in bad shape (only the driver seat). I don't wish you spend unnecessarily replacing all the seat covers.

Many thanks in advance!

How thick does the steering get after the leather install? Do they have to get the steering off? I guess not.

Increases by a few millimetres but doesn’t feel uncomfortable. Took me a day to get used to it.
Steering had to be removed “for achieving the best factory like finish”. I had the same concern but took a chance when I saw other cars’ steering being removed as well.

Re: Seat Covers: Imperial INC (Bangalore)

I got my Kushaq fabric seat covers changed at Imperial Leathers. The Kushaq seats are very comfortable and fabric seats are good too, but they were not looking classy and since its a compact SUV, the grey color of the fabric seat was making the car seem smaller than it was! I have had great experiences with Imperial Leathers, having changed the seat covers for my Skoda Rapid and Fabia there. Shiva Kumar is a very helpful and friendly person who always recommends the best and delivers to his promise. The leatherette seats with Montano leather ice grey colour give the interiors a premium look and they are also very comfortable. The look is that of ventilated seats. My family members liked them and even the Skoda service guys commented on the quality of these seat covers! I have taken the car on a 750 km long journey over some bad roads too and never felt let down on comfort! A job well done by Imperial Leathers and great recommendations by Shiva Kumar as always! Attaching a few pictures for reference
