@pramodkumar
Around 40-45 sq feet of damping will be more than enough for a proper damping job for a lancer. NoiseKill is a great VFM option for damping. The best would be Dynamat Extreme I guess.

, That comes around 7.5k for damping a lancer. Fellow bhpian shankar got his a star damped at 700/Door, and i guess it is reasonably done.

I am thinking of going the DIY way, i and JK might order in bulk and do it ourselves.

I think 150 is more like the max retail price.
For a bulk purchase of 40-45 sq feet, you can easily get some discounts. Should be doable in ~5k I believe.

Guys,

+1 to Asdons request & can you'll suggest some good installers ?

Btw, how does one differentiate between a counterfeit & genuine product ?

Have done some DIY & damped my Swift floor with yoga mats Now looking to damp the doors for her 4th Birthday ! How much material would be required for the 4 doors ?

Sankar got just few sq ft; don't think full door (inside of door panel) was done. I want to do that too if needed.

NoiseKill retails at 150/sq ft IIRC.

70 sq ft will will be needed for 4 doors plus boot? And if its heavy damping?

Also can someone tell me how much does a kg of this thing weigh?

I was told one would need 35sq.ft for front door and trunk door. Also, to use 15sq.ft for rear doors.

Total of 50-55sq ft I guess.

Can someone suggest how much each door needs for; base/medium/heavy damping.

Guys! yes, for a sq.ft ! Don't tell me 1kg/sq.ft !
