As Hydra said, the XS65 is for Rs 34K and the iDQ12v2 was for Rs 15500 at last check. The fact that they're made in USA didn't help and rising fuel and freight costs have taken their toll on pricing. The iDQ12v2 retailed for around 11.8K initially, then 12.5K and then 14K too, eventually selling for Rs 15500.

Of course the iDQv2 is now discontinued after a decade of success and succeeded by the iDQv3.

Hmm, another vote for Hydra's K.I.S.S concept ICE. I look forward to hearing it myself sometime (as opposed to hearing about it)...

Thank you, Jay! Thanks also for those extra great CDs. I've almost worn out a copy of the sax CD with repeated listening already

Upgrade coming up.

A TRU STEEL S500 Mono will give company to the TRU STEEL S44 in a couple of days.

Due to various technical and uh, *koff* *koff* domestic reasons I'm having to go back to a front + rear + sub setup. The rear seats are being used more often than I expected with people angry with me for being uh, 'selfish' about the music. An Image Dynamics CTX6.5 will go into the back doors.

It is happening even faster than I'd planned. I've just left the car with Zuheimi. I'll be collecting it late evening tomorrow

BTW, I'm also upgrading the power wiring to 2 gauge.

As Zak said, the amp is with Zuheimi already. The S25 does look yummy! Guess it will be priced lower than the S44 -- the S44 will do 200w x 2 in DM mode, the S25 does 120w x 2. Would have been perfect with an S500 to run a front + sub setup.

was this nessacery because the total load will be around 4channel 260rms + sub@4ohs 325w you have a d2 sub or there is some change.
total load will round off 600rms
4 gauge would have done the job easily,or there is something i am missing.
