Something to do with the way subs are installed? A clue to the sub install technique that will be used in his setup?

Of course! Thats a BIG hint.

But I still wonder how much SQ you are gonna achieve Frank - mounting 2 Pioneer 12 SVC subs in that position. You will still be a chhapri install

oh common guys anyone can see how it is mounted, so whats hint is all about.

there are only two way (as shown in the pic) to mount a sub or 2 sub, one shown in the pic inverted and the other is isobaric, for isobaric frank needs one more sub simple.

It depends how you see the picture. My take would be somehing with the mounting of the sub in the car. Let us see what Frank has in his teeth...

here's the thing!

YES: there is going to be an isobaric install.
it is going to comprise of 2 luccent IM-12's (the 2nd one of which has already been procured)

whether it will be a clamshell (more likely) or a push pull (dont think so) isobaric subwoofer install, only Ajay Kamath knows. as of now, he is surely away from all of this and enjoying in the middle of a desert.

so, coming back to the topic: the surprises are done with, and so is the suspense.
i was feeling guilty wasting valuable forum space today, making everybody 'gas'
anyways i am quite excited about this turn of events and i would like to thank the person who sourced the sub for me (he knows who he is.)

there: the cat is out of the bag, the skeletons are out of the cabinet and the beans are out of the can!
