Question: What minimum changes can i make to my setup to make it sound like a live wembley performance? Basically, I want chest-pounding bass, coupled with clear, resonating mids and highs...

Thanks in advance, and Cheers!
Hey greenhorn... chest pounding bass doesnt come cheap though.. what you will get cheap is slow, boomy bass from a Pioneer sub.

If you really wanna hear good sound, why dont you IM me, we can meet and I'll give you a demo in my car...

Hi Vivekphadnis

Audison amps are completely manufactured and built in Italy. They use exquisite design and components and they sound fabulous. The range starts from Rs. 21650 for the SRx4 and moves up from there to the LRx4.300 for Rs. 34640 and moves from there to the VRx series into 6 digit figures.

These fantastic sounding amps are available ex-stock, the above prices are inclusive of Delhi VAT and carry a years warranty.

Have you heard these yet? You seem familiar with the brand.

I have not listened to their products. I am into audio DIY just like Sam and Navin and have come across Audison. By exquisite, I suppose you mean Blackgate caps, Vishay resistors or Blue Alps pots.

i think my seller buys stuff frm cochin jbl seller. anyway my seller(Ajoy) has a jbl sub's pic on his visiting card. and in case u want 2 , u knw ; him, his name is ajoy mathew, car world, bakery jn, trivandrum. (ring ring at 93876 63821, 98470 63821)

and bro, u sure jbl's big boss wont kick u ...u being bullying so many sellers :P 2 sell for a better price for team-bhp members.

anyway thanks 4 approving my audio config.

on second thought... ask him 2 give me couple of jbl stickers and to go a nice job. that would do . hehe

very simple. rip them to MP3. not at all diffucult. cumbersome but not diffcult.

Using Lame 3.96.1 (now 3.97 is stable) APX (Alt Preset Extreme) one can get very decent MP3s. If you prefer a lossless format I would suggest WavPack (4.2).

Unfortunately I couldn't go to setup my CAr system today.
And fortunately, I read this reply now.

I think - I'll give a serious try to making an MP3 of a Cassette over the weekend and then decide. If it clicks with good sound Quality. Chuk the Cassette deck+CD Changer combo. Will put that money in a sub.

HOpe my exp with the CAssette to MP3 comes out well.

Thank you so much for your right advice at the right time....(Not the first time this advice has been given but don't know why, this time, its hit the nail right on the head!!! May be because its coming from you)

Will get back to you with the results of the Conversion to MP3
