and JL thought people would look at the car with those dancers around. Lanzar used to do this too. In my single days I used to go to stalls like Earthquake and Lanzar etc. just to make PC with the girls. Most air heads (or paid to act that way).

Can we connect HOme Audio Speakers in a CAr

Can i connect HOme Audio 3 way Speakers 150W RMS Aiwa make to a car Stereo? Couldnt locate the manual to give exact specifications. Checked the rear of the speaker and near the connection terminal its written 6 Ohms.

These speakers come from my first Home system Aiwa NSX 999 purchased way back in 1997 1800 watts pmpo and 300 Watts RMS Thought of selling it but guys have quoted just 2500 for it. So, kept it with me. Checked it out again yesterday and the speakers still rock - especially the bass.

Just wondered if I could put them to any use in my car? the size of the speakers with their factory box is roughly the same as a box of 6"x9" speakers. So, can sacrifice the boot space a lil if i can hook them up in my car.

What say gurus? can i do this?

Yes you can do it. If you hear any laughter, it'll be Navin, peeping into the boot.

lol

Seriously dude, give it a shot, 6 ohms is ok, what have you got to lose. I say try it.

Sam said try and you said you've done worse. Does it mean that what I suggested is after all not a good idea?

If thats a monster... check this out... Its one of our 'demo car's from Italy. This pic is from our distributor convention held there earlier this year. I guess the Italians do it better...

If you cant identify the machine... get off this forum.
