Aaargh... That is so wrong.

I think that document needs a thread of its own, in a more humorous section of the site!

On second thoughts you're probably right. Suggest this be moved to http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/shifti...hread-559.html. Moderators please oblige!

Re: The Official Joke thread

Parts of it are wrong, parts of it are in really mangled English, but, having read through it, I ended up thinking, "at least thee guys are trying."

Re: The Official Joke thread

Never knew these lads had mirrors instead of windshields! There is not a hint of seriousness in that document. "Press clutch before braking" - Wonder how many were educated by the manual. "If you want to stop, raise your hand up" - LOL.
Blame this pdf file for accidents. Rest in peace, dear english or in pieces rather!

Why is that wrong? Unless you are doing high speeds, isn't it recommended to press the clutch before braking to take some load off the engine before you brake?

BTW, that is a hand signal that you are supposed to actually make while driving as per Indian Motor Vehicle Laws. I learnt it the hard way recently.

Re: The Official Joke thread

A Tata Nano breaks down on a roadside

A man in a BMW 750Li stops to help the Nano driver. He tells the Nano driver "I will tow your car to the next service station, but if I drive too fast please flash your headlights."

They start up slowly and everything is hunky dory, however, a kilometer or so down the road a Porsche overtakes them at lightening speed. This hurts the ego of the beemer guy and instantly he forgets about the Nano and starts to race the Porsche.

Just as all 3 of them fly & tear through the speed trap, the traffic cop radios his headquarters: "Calling all stations, you won't believe this, I just saw a BMW & a Porsche racing past at about 195 km/hr, with a Tata Nano right behind and madly flashing its lights to overtake them!!!!"

Killer!

One from my side:

I was driving with my friend. We come to a red light and he speeds up and whips right through it. I start freaking out "Hey man, you are going to get us killed!"
He replies "Relax, my brother drives like this."
We come to another red light and he blazes right through. "You're going to get arrested or get us killed!"
"Relax this is how my brother drives."
We come to a green light he stops dead looking both ways. "Dude, it's green you can go." "Nah man, my brother might be coming the other way.

And to wrap this post, the new seat belt design:
