Found this when going through some blog. May bring a smile.

Well, I am not very good at English, so maybe that is why I find something amiss.

It does read, 'not quite right'; but I guess it means you instruct them for a one time payment (and pay some amount in advance - I've no idea how can one fix an amount on postpaid connections), and they would automatically make the payment on your behalf until the balance runs out or something. stupid:

P.S - I may be wrong here.

Nothing wrong with you guys, or even with the English in the ad. Only the head of the guy who came up with this brilliant idea needs to be examined!!

Man, you do something like that with my money, I'll sue you!

Today is Navroz (Parsi New Year). An old Parsi friend sent this, which captures the attitude of the community succinctly. The Official Joke thread-imageuploadedbyteambhp1439903961.635317.jpg

I was about to post this in the TUV3OO thread - but this should be the better thread for this!!

That article is full of howlers!!

Snippets

Quote:

Mahindra by introducing the TUV300 is doing the second attempt in the SUV segment as before that, the company launched Bolero in the market which has been a runaway success but its sales only came from rural areas
TUV is M&M's second SUV attempt?

Quote:

The company justifies that the TUV300’s design is inspired by the battle tank but apart from that, the design cues are also taken from Pininfarina
Design cues from Pininfarina? Is that a car make or model?

Apparently TUV3OO also has front and rear overhangs - the presence of which gives it a butchy stance

Quote:

Stepping inside, the new TUV300 offer spacious cabin
How did they do that in a yet to be launched car?

:D :D That article was so unbearable, I finished off my emoji limit here itself!!
Apart from the practically uncountable blunders, there is also too much of "the" used throughout the piece, even at wrong places!!!
And they call the S-Cross and Creta "robust"!! (Not 'robust looking', but 'robust'!!)
Meanwhile, a Toyota LC and a Merc S-Guard were found attempting suicide by jumping off a cliff, due to public humiliation. (!!)

Jokes apart:

Pininfarina

Car manufacturer

Pininfarina S.p.A. is an independent Italian car design firm and coachbuilder in Cambiano, Italy. It was founded by Battista "Pinin" Farina in 1930. Pininfarina is employed by a wide variety of automobile manufactures to design vehicles.

What they are implying is about automatic debit from your card or bank account, which is already offered by many telecom providers.

But to say the least the ad agency got the entire picture wrong in this case.:uncontrol
