Well, it is monsoon, go try. The second pic is just a Manipal road.

Tried a few potraits recently (not much time in hand to shoot other subjects). Very minimal processing. Any comments to better them?

here's one from my 1st camera. A kodak point and shoot (DX6490)

taken somewhere near Giant's causeway- Northern Ireland. the coastal road in that area, I forget the name, was amazing.

@jomz
the warm tones are too prominent in the pic.
reds and yellows predominate.
the trees and the leaves look ok, but the ground and the sky look unnatural.
what software did you use?

Picasa's pretty good. I've been using it ever since it was released by google.
just started using photoshop a week ago. its a steep learning curve.

Photoshop lets you select the areas you want enhanced. which is what I love about it.

attached below is a photo i had great hopes about when I clicked it, because the scene was so beautiful. when i got back home and saw it on the monitor,

was going through my old pics and decided to work on this for fun.
I shot the pic originally in jpeg, thinking I'll never be able to PP RAW files. now I regret it big time, thinking of all the wasted opportunities.
this pic could have been so much better if I had more data to work with.

Gautam, do some auto-leveling, it will improve multi-fold.
