Nice Try Ripper. I think the snap itself is a bit of low quality. Not sure if what pixel camera was used. Plus it is highly over exposed.

Not sure, if it can be corrected by PS.

That is very odd, almost surreal. The lighting on the bug is very different from the light on the surroundings. A very sharp pic though.

@Samurai, that bug was very very very tiny, may be half a centimeter, and the early morning light in rainy/cloudy circumstances might have given that surreal look. No PP done.

Oh man, just wish that alligator was in focus, it would've been a Killer photograph, IMHO.
And be careful about high-lights, most of the time they're blown away (I'm talking about the white patches which have lost most of the details in Openbill stork,Ibis and the plover photos). Check your RAW files if they've details as this may happen during Post Processing also.
Last photo of the Kingfisher is bit cluttered, may be you could've cropped the twigs on the outer boundaries.

Thanks Kaushik for the critique, i purposely wanted the alligator in the background as the bird wandering was of much more intrest as a subject, which of course i couldnt manage to give a better perpsective

I dont know how to process the whites as i am doing all the PP in DPP software of Canon. I need to learn on PP'ing whites as i tried a lot of times but was not successful in getting a better picture. I need to study a flowchart of PP in Photoshop probably, then try again. All files were taken in RAW,

The KF was already cropped from a lot of twigs and more cropping would blur the image evn more.
