Is anybody experiencing this problem in iOS4.3 in 3GS,

I get an sms, click on view. SMS app opens, with the message along with the keyboard.

In my earlier 4.0.1, I get to see only the message and not the keyboard popped up by default.

Anybody?

No. This doesn't happen on my phone. I only get the keyboard when I touch the "reply" section...

is there an unlock and jailbreak available for iphone 3g with 4.2.1 os and baseband as 05.15.04?

would appreciate if someone can throw some light on this.

SICK!!! Have gone through Apple forums and found this issue is very common and the solution is to restore. Not the hard iOS restore. Did it yesterday, but no luck.

Anyways, 4.3.1 is out, with many issues fixed. Keeping fingers crossed to check mine.

This happens on my iPhone 4 too which is running on 4.3. A minor irritant but something that I can live with.

4.3.1 is out already?

Yes and these are the changes.

Fixes an occasional graphics glitch on iPod touch (4th generation)
Resolves bugs related to activating and connection to some cellular networks
Fixes image flicker when using Apple Digital AV adapter with some TVs
Resolves an issue authenticating with some enterprise web services

The update also includes other improvements and bug fixes.

Also talks about possible battery life improvement though not confirmed.

True, the battery has improved and mixed responses for 3GS on the battery front. Some say yes/no.

I have also reported the SMS Keyboard bug to Apple through the bug reporter. Lets see, if I can get an reply.

I am gonna update and see what happens.

happens on my phone ever since I upgraded to iOS4, quite a few months back.

Very irritating to see keyboard when I want to read the sms.

Updated iOS4.3 in my iPhone4 and Hotspot is amazing. Safari is really faster than previous and surely it'll be great success.

I upgraded to 4.3.1 yest on my iP 4. Hard to tell if battery life has improved. I find it to be the same as earlier. Battery down to 80% after 20 hrs with few calls, some browsing and marginal GPS usage.

Have to check the battery. I have checked only the new feature Personal Hotspot and Safari Browser Speed.
I'll check Battery in coming days and post here soon.

Looks like you upgraded directly from 4.2.1 to 4.3.1. The 4.3 was released few weeks ago and is superseded by the 4.3.1.

iOS 4.3 was released the day iPad 2 was released.

Last week, iOS 4.3.1 was released, fixing few glitches and a major improvement in battery life. So, asked.
