There were other vendors who quoted 1.5k but they gave no warranty.

So got the screen replaced from iService. It was an hour's job, that's it. The quality of the screen looks as good as the original gorilla glass. I tested everything I could -- camera, light sensor, typing and various touch actions. Couldn't find any difference from the original screen. So I am satisfied as of now.

Excellent fit & finish of the new glass

And now for some extra precaution. Out goes the silicone cover...

... and in comes the leather pouch (which I already had but never used!)
Great. I too have some condensation in my iPhone4 and planning to clean or the change the screen
Can you please share iService contacts?

shouldn't they coexist ? Most of the time phone drops when it slips out of hand while receiving calls so leather pouch won't help here.

May be this is best of both the worlds

i think a flip-case might help. i had one from Capdase, but after long usage the seam on one side gave up. using a silicone cover for now.

this one.

On 100 feet road, below the coffee day there is a cell shop which had a nice apple logo and blackberry logo as well. Supposed to be service centre but am assuming they should have cables for sale there. Sorry, no idea what pricing is.

Yes, they should. I had a pouch that came with the silicone cover (offered free by the dealer) and that was really good. Unfortunately, two years of abuse tore it apart and I was left with just the silicone cover. The silicone cover has loosened up over time and it comes out pretty easily.

Yes these are good! But I personally don't like flip cases. Something about them that hides the form factor and complete feel of this beautifully designed phone . So that option is ruled out. I had this leather pouch I got as a gift. I am using it for now.

Thanks, now this looks good -- protection to the front screen as well! How fat is it? I should check it out at Forum.

It fits in fine in my palm , its not that big. Its almost equal to those pouches which you get for keeping the phone .

Cheers

re: The iPhone Thread

After having used a Iphone 3GS for over 3 years, took the plunge and got the Iphone 5,using an Airtel Sim card in the IP5,the internet usage pop up message has been irritating me ever since i started using it,it comes up in the following format, with a green dismiss button.

Usage made: 0.04MB. You have: 1848.87 MB left in your account. Valid upto March 14 2013.

I am using Tata Docomo 3G on my Iphone 3GS and no such pop up comes up.
Any idea as to how to stop this pop message in an airtel sim?
