Too many contradictory stories...and Apple insider is a known fanboi site. Don't know whom to believe. From my POV Apple need to up their game, especially for the prices they charge here in India. IOS is a little long in the tooth they have had one too many screw ups with the IP5. My money does not go to Apple till then. They need to do far better. The competition is not to be sneezed at.

Gurus, Need advice on a used iphone price. I am getting a 4S. It is one year old and unlocked phone. It was under AT&T contract. Black color and 16GB with all accessories. 300$ is a fair price for this?

The most seamless method is to sync with iTunes. When you connect the phone to laptop with iTunes, it shows several tabs, Summary, Apps, Music, Books, Photos, etc. Under photos, select the folder which you want to sync with the phone. And you are done.

Its a good price . Almost 100$ cheaper than the prices prevailing in the second hand market for 4s in delhi at least. Provided everything is ok.

re: The iPhone Thread

Question on iOS software update – the version 6.0.2 is applicable only for iPhone 5? Yesterday when I connected my wife’s iP5 to iTunes, it got updated into v6.0.2, but later when I connected my 4S it says 6.0.1 is the latest.

Appreciate if someone can throw some light on this. Thank you.

Yes, that's only for iPhone 5 with some fixes for wifi issue if I'm not wrong.
Cheers

I had faced this problem earlier as well and now again after the upgrade. Network goes off for a moment, about a second and comes back.

I noticed another weird thing, the phone showed NO SERVICE when the call was on! The voice quality during the call was normal, as usual.

IP5 I guess? And yes, I have the same problem. Have been noticing it after the last 2 updates.. Every time I finish a call, I get a popup that the network connection is lost. The next second everything is back to normal.

Ohh, by the way there is this app "App Gratis". Helps in finding out free apps for the day.
