Bought a uGreen wireless charger (10W) from AliExpress during their last year sale for my Note 8. The same is being used for my iPX too with/without case.

May be I should go over to Reliance digital to talk with the JIO guys.
Airtel is definitely ready, i think jio too. Also this is not a New thing for them, the Apple watch with esim is working with jio and airtel since early this year

Airtel apparently you can do it over sms request to 121, google and you will get the details. Jio on the other hand I chatted through the app and customer rep mentioned this can be done only at the physical shop.

Re: The iPhone Thread

A friend of mine has an iphone X S running iOS 12.1. He has an old Mac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 which does not recognise the phone on iTunes. He would have to upgrade the software on his Mac for it to do so but he doesn't want to.

Is there anyway he can transfer the music from his Mac onto his phone without upgrading the software on his Mac?

One suggested method is to transfer the music to an external HDD and then onto the phone using a third party app.

Is there an easier way?

The iPhone Thread

I went to Reliance digital yday to have a look at the Xr and also to check what kind of value I can expect for my iPhone 7 and 6.

First up, the Xr seems quite big in size, in all dimensions, height, width and depth, especially if you are moving from the regular sized phones like 6 and 7. I wonder how bulky the Xr would get once I fit the usual otterbox case!
The screen looks good, if you keep the Xr and the Xs side by side, there is not that big a difference, not instantly at least.

I was offered 18.5 k for my 32 GB iPhone 7 and around 8.5k for my 16 GB iphone6, all in all about 27k for both phones. Anyway, I have to take backups on both phones, hence may buy the Xr sometime this weekend, only if JIO is ready with the E-Sim option.

The 8 Plus is bigger. The R is All Screen so can appear larger though it isn't.

This issue still persists. Now what? Any indicators please? Is there a way to stop the upgrade at least for now?

Can you try a hard restart for your device and check? If that also does not help, you might want to look at restore route.

Turn off WiFi. Believe it checks for update only on WiFi? Sorry if you had mentioned you tried that already in your earlier posts.

Yes ideally get the 8 if not the 7, SE will be discontinued soon. After that support and updates would be a problem.

Re: The iPhone Thread

Don't know how far its true, but a colleague mentioned that XS bought in Hongkong comes with dual sim and not e-sim and regular sim respectively.

Can someone confirm, if this is factual?
