re: The Mobile Phone Thread - Queries, decisions, discussions all here

What is the lowest street price of HTC One V?

Spice Hotspot stores are selling in the range of 18000-18500 range.

Any recommended place except hotspot to buy this phone in Delhi/NCR region?

PS - I am not open to online purchase.

Thanx for the reply raj. Galaxy y was my first choice but now I am confused between it and the htc explorer.
Moreover, is anyone here using the galaxy ace? Its a little out of budget but I quite liked the specifications.

HTC has a bad reputation for after sales service, atleast in Mumbai as far as I have seen in my friend's case.

Ok people i really need your help. I have managed to brick my Lg KM900 Arena with the help of a custom firmware. The problem is that it shows the Lg logo and then RSOD. Please do help me. I'm attaching a pic of the phone in the current condition.

no man. 320x240 display is a piece of crap. no no no.

Explorer or any other with 320x480 is good option instead. there's a lovely 10.5k optimus hub out there as well. Far better touch, more RAM, gorilla glass, better res - trumps it on most dimensions except weight!

Recently we purchased galaxy ace plus for my wifey. The phone runs on android gingerbread 2.x. I have to admit that battery life sucks big time. The battery drains big time even when the phone is on standby mode. This is our experience, not sure what other guys here feel about it.

We have reached out to Samsung for a statement on whether it has indeed launched the Galaxy Nexus in India or not.

UPDATE: A Samsung spokesperson has denied that the company has launched the Galaxy Nexus in India.

The Galaxy S advance is a good option but you can also try the Sony Xperia Neo V.

The processor is same as the HTC One V but the Sony has a larger screen with higher resolution as well as front facing camera. It comes with ICS straight out of the box.

Sony Neo L is also a very good phone and is a successor of Neo V.

Can somebody please tell me if it is possible to use a mono bluetooth headset to listen to MP3s from a phone or laptop? Or do mono BT headsets work only for voice calls?
