| ![]() I saw two Spigen cases on Amazon. I am also inclined towards one of them. Also, your idea about holding back on memory is very much appreciated. Only memory is so cheap. |

Memory is cheap, but can never be as fast as the NAND flash storage on the phone. It is a myth that adding external memory will slow down the phone, but it definitely affects files sitting on the external memory. In case you do feel you might run out, keep a micro sd handy, but pop it in only once you run out of 80% space. This is honestly how i would do it, since im very short tempered and don't care for even a tiny slow down. I'd rather just keep less junk on the device

Use the SD card for carrying around vast amounts of music, movies, etc, if you need to do that

| ![]() Guys, what's your take on Zuk Z2? Comes with SD 820, 2.15 Ghz & 3500 mAh & a decent 13 MP rear & 8 MP front camera. Looks like best VFM now isn't it? Shortlisted K6 power, but have to rule out now due to SD 430; I'm thinking of getting a phone with a bare minimum SD 625. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() may be it is too early to give judgement on z2+, because what i have seen, these mobiles tends to get slow (on performance or touch responses) over the period of time. but, coming back to g4+, it is still flawless even after 7+ months of usage. |

| ![]() SD625 is faster and more efficient than 617.I'd say the difference of 3k is worth it as G5 plus is faster, has metallic body, better camera and importantly, turbocharging which is a boon in our lifestyle. |

| ![]() @kkkkkaran; Just ordered the Spigen liquid case and a Sandisk 32GB card on Amazon. My phone has already been shipped. Now I hope to meet the phone and the card when I reach Gurugram, or at most by Monday. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() I agree with your points on 'metallic body' and 'better camera', but turbo charging is available in G4+ also. |

| ![]() I received by Samsung Galaxy S8 yesterday. My son moved all software but had to use the USB cable to do so. They had exactly the same issue with the Pixel earlier. The only software which did not port the data was the Memo Pad from xtakagi. So I manually rekeyed the data. Today I found a new utility for porting data this too through the SD card but that is too late. The Nougat and Samsung interface is taking some getting used to. One thing I found in the box was a small card carrier which can take the uSD card on one side and the nano-SIM on the other. What is this for? The phone is black but this is more like golden. |

Since the time, I got away from Samsung Galaxy Note 1, I have been using Motorola and Nexus for years until last month when I was kind of forced to choose a samsung. I was given an option to choose between Samsung Galaxy S7 and iPhone 6s and I was forced to choose best of the worst just for the sake of Android. Here are my initial impressions of the Samsung Galaxy S7.
Overall rating - Samsung Galaxy S7 is a great camera which looks great and also provides some average communication experience. If I had a choice, I would have chosen the Pixel, Nexus or Motorola. But, unfortunately, we are still stuck with Samsung as the android phone of choice in the corporate world. Last edited by SDP : 29th May 2017 at 12:40. Reason: Merging

| ![]() Got my hands on Redmi 4- Black -2G/16B version. Upgrading solely because my Nexus 4 screen broke after I dropped it. Replacement of screen is costlier than Redmi 4 ![]() I was using Nexus 4 since 5 years and it was as good as new since it was still on Kitkat. Wanted to buy VFM phone with screen size <= 5 inches Initial impressions on Redmi 4 - Good Form factor. Easy to operate since I come from nexus 4 - Fingerprint sensor is slick and accurate - Camera is way better than N4 - Speaker at the bottom (a la Redmi Note 4) is a good idea - Switching across apps seems smooth Dislikes - Only 10.64GB available out of 16 GB. Reminds me of Super Built Up area v/s Carpet Area in Apartments - Curved Glass means Tempered glass doesnt stick to edges. Maybe I have to order Curved Tempered Glass |
