Don't know whether this is the right thread to post this

I had Bought a LG Optimus One P500 from Spice Hotspot a fortnight ago. Initial impression was Good as this is my first Android.
Yesterday the phone crashed and entered into Emergency Mode and would not Boot. Today i went to LG Service center only to find out that the Motherboard is Faulty

. Moreover they need some days to repair it as they don't have motherboard in stock.

Guys should i accept the Repaired Mobile or should i ask them for a New Replacement?

Guys,
I did a rom flash. Prior to doing this I synced my contacts with google. When I am trying to restore the the phone numbers are not coming. Please help me out.

Did you verify whether the contacts got synced with Google after syncing? I'd go and check it in Gmail before going ahead flashing a new ROM. BTW, if you have a nandroid backup, just restore it to get everything back.

Just checked out MIUI ROM. Impressive stuff, but switched back to CM7

Now charging to 100% and then will wipe the battery stats which I didn't do yet after installing CM7.

I just checked google contacts it has only email ids. no phone numbers. crap.

Got Htc Desire, my first android !
Now waiting for gingerbread update...

Bought from Spice Hotspot for 15k.

Guys, one help.

I tried video call (fring app) from my galaxy s2 to my friend's galaxy ace. ace showed some device limitation error but the s2 did fine.

What could be the limitation for ace? It sports a front camera too, or is it because of android 2.2?

Wasn't the milestone bootloader cracked way back? I have both Milestone and Atrix. The milestone runs CM7 beautifully and now waiting for Atrix to get the GB update.

The Desire that's being sold by Spice has the S-LCD screen rather than the AMOLED screen that the original Desire had.

Perspectives!
Well, with the budget I had, my options were defy, galaxy ace & p550.
I think I got a fantastic deal

On the gingerbread update, I don't need those default apps (plurk, stocks, peep, footprints etc).
Won't miss them at all!

Again, at 15k I didn't expect a AMOLED screen. Read somewhere that its got Sony SLCD panel, and am impressed too.

zoomingbhat's experience should tell us not to fool around (i.e root, change ROM, etc) for a few days after getting a phone. Otherwise warranty goes for a toss.

No man... Did you upgrade to froyo before switching to cm7?

Guys, i recently bought the Nexus S from letsbuy.
I transferred my contacts from my Nokia using bluetooth, now when i add a new contact i don't see it where my contacts appear. Its visible if i search for it and select the option "search all contacts" how do i fix this ? Also does anyone else have the problem of phone automatically putting a fullstop if you use the spacebar after selecting a word form the predictive text ?

Good news is that LG has accepted to Replace my handset with a new one.
Will be getting it in 2 working days.
