@nkghai: sir, any idea about effect of decreased price of ford endeavour 2.2 AT Trend 4x2 on csd price. When is it likely to be passed on to csd pricing?

Has the Innova Crysta AT come in CSD ? If yes would you be having the price list.

Just got this news:

Ford introduced all variants of Endeavour in CSD, even 3.2 litre too. Initially i was not convinced but requested the dealership here for quotes and he sent me this...

Execited to hear this news. I was always under the impression that the eligiblity for a CSD vehicle was sub 3 litre engine capacity. Ford Endeavour in its top end variant is a great vehicle and if its available through CSD its too good.

At present purchase of a vehicle through CSD gets exemption of VAT only and not excise duty. However after GST comes into force it will be only one tax and not two taxes. So logically once GST comes into force the exemption of tax should be the entire tax on the vehicle.
I hope I have successfully explained my query and I will get answer from my fellow BHPians.
Hi Guys,
I humbly request for a clarification on my querry which will be of great help for me and other members here who are intending to buy a vehicle through CSD. Atleast lets have a discussion on the possibilities.

Is it true that the offers provided by dealer / manufacturer cannot be clubbed if procured through CSD? A dealer is willing to provide discounts upto a lakh on exchange for Ciaz Zdi+?

Cheers, Arun

Wrong. CSD exemptions are basically tax exemptions provided by the Govt. Discounts or offers by the manufacturer or dealer are besides these. Dealers should provide them to you. When i bought a Wagon R 2 years back, I got all offers including exchange bonus etc apart from the CSD benefits. Make this very clear to the dealer that you understand the issue clearly and walk away to another one if he does not relent.

The CSD website lists the following in the new entry list.
Toyota Fortuner is not in list.

I think even Endeavour 3.2 has been removed from the list of cars being sold through CSD. Can someone confirm this?

Yes it seems so.
I had spoken to a dealer in Mumbai and he informed me that 3.2 Titanium, which was in the list earlier has been discontinued.

@nkghai sir any further update on plans of csd to introduce new vehicles?

Looking forwards since very long for introduction of new fortuner in csd. Can't see a reason as to why 3.2 ltr endeavour has already been introduced but 2.8 ltr fortuner still look like a dream.
