True, the ad did not do justice to the unique design element of the Tigor! More focus on designer lights, graphics and people...Not bad, but the car had a lot more character than the other stuff in the advertisement.

The video does not highlight the most important style aspect, the coupe like roof of the TIGOR. I hope they make a better TVC

Today afternoon, multiple Tigors were landed at Venkataramana Motors Gachibowli. Following are the shades that I had seen. Test drives will be available starting from tomorrow (Tuesday).

Silver
Berry Red
Copper
Striker Blue

Checked out the Tigor over the weekend. They had the striking berry red in display and the RD vehicles were silver and copper. Couple of pics of the Berry Red with the lovely LED stop lamps. The alloy on the Petrol looks fabulous too.

It's been more than 2 weeks since the launch and one cannot see a huge enthusiasm to discuss the car as opposed to its sibling Tiago or It's big brother Hexa during and after their launch. Not many have come forward to claim that they have booked it as well. Tiago/Baleno/Ignis/City -- All these cars had very good advance booking to boast in the first fortnight. Is it too early to comment negatively? Not sure why I have this sentiment but I really want TATA to succeed and wish TATA never makes a misstep!

Let's take the case of Tiago. The reason for the huge enthusiasm after its launch was mainly its price. The design, features, improvement in Tata quality etc were secondary, IMO. At such a super price, buyers found Tiago as a very interesting car.

Coming to Tigor; the price was not much of a head-turner. Add to it the kind of customers - who will be mostly upgrading to their second car. They now have the practical experience; would have a better understanding about the cars; and know about the options available in the same / slightly higher price bracket. Moving up higher in the price bracket, the "budget stretch-ability" of the consumers increase!

When is the Team-BHP review coming up? I understand it takes time to build a Rolls Royce or Ferrari compared to a regular car. But, the impact of the review is maximum closest to the launch. After that people more or less make up their mind based on other, not so complete reviews. In other words the availability bias comes into effect. Right now many of my non-member friends are also eagerly waiting for Team-BHP review

I went to a Tata dealer to check out Tigor and it does look stunning. Although Tigor petrol XZ(O) priced closely to Zest XT petrol (had 20k cash discounts as well), Tigor still wins over the heart by appearance alone (if not much concerned about the engine comparisons).

Although I saw in few video reviews and on carwale site, the spare wheel offered is a full size alloy -> when checked in person (on XZ optional variant), found it to be a steel wheel. Is the spare an alloy or some mess up with the dealer?

I saw 3 Tigors yesterday within Hyderabad city. Two of them were TD vehicles with stickers while one was an unregistered vehicle. 1 silver, 1 brown and 1 white. I saw all three of them from the front on the other side of the road in busy stretches and so, couldn't focus on the beautiful rear end. From the front, it's identical to the Tiago except for those projector headlamps. The car looks a bit narrow (like the Xcent) but otherwise, looks beautiful.

Diesel and petrol gets different alloys and dia size as per the auto car review.

Edit: Manual confirms this. 15 inch for petrol and 14 for diesel.
