XUV already has good overlapping with Creta and I wonder where will they place the regular tivoli then ? Mahindra can probably squeeze-in side facing seats and call it a 7 seater perhaps to differentiate lol: Otherwise i think there will only be one model on offer(at least for 2018)

Based on spy shots, it appears that it is a base variant of the upcoming SUV as it sports steel wheels and lacks roof rails or rear wiper and washer. The fact that Mahindra has many prototypes of the S201 on test accumulating thousands of kilometers in test runs further bolsters reports that the carmaker will launch the compact SUV in January of 2019.

When launched, the S201's major rivals will be the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, and Ford EcoSport. The Vitara Brezza is the best selling product in its class with 5-digit monthly sales, a feat it manages without offering a petrol option. However, Mahindra will have all bases covered with the S201 as reports say it will come with a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The petrol is expected to develop 140 hp and the diesel, which makes its debut on the Mahindra Marazzo, is reported to produce 121 hp. These new engines are co-developed with Ssangyong Motor, which has also lent the Ssangyong Tivoli which forms the basis of the S201.

Mahindra's Ssangyong Tivoli based sub-4m car has been spotted testing on GST road near Vandalur, Chennai.

Earlier this year, the compact SUV (codenamed S201) was spotted with production-spec tail lights. The latest images indicate that the car could also have a staggered rear parking sensor arrangement, with the outer two sensors placed lower than the middle ones.

While there has been no official word on the engine options the car would get, it has been reported that the S201 could get a choice of 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The SUV will go against the Maruti Vitara Brezza, the Ford EcoSport and the Tata Nexon in the Indian market.

Looks like outskirts of chennai, must be either Mahindra Tivoli or Hyundai's upcoming SUV. The Harrier has a horizontal taillight setup.

That should be the Tivoli based C-SUV from Mahindra. The Harrier is a Creta / Compass sized vehicle.

No. This is on hosur road near Electronic City, Bangalore. Took it today evening. Certainly Tivoli.

Found the Tivoli out of India. Some pictures attached for your reference.
Its size is somewhere in-between the Hyundai Creta and the Maruti Suzuki Breeza. Catches your attention too!

Reader Gokulraj G Kanagaraj has spotted a test mule of the top-spec Mahindra S201 in Chennai. While an earlier sighting revealed the electric sunroof of the top grade of the company's Maruti Vitara Brezza-rival, the latest clip offers a look at the compact SUV's LED glow and rear disc brake.

The Mahindra S201 will reportedly launch in January next year. The Maruti Vitara Brezza adversary will be based on the Ssangyong Tivoli and of a high specification. That said, the S201 will measure less than 4.0-metres in length, which will help the vehicle benefit from lower GST. The overall design will carry several minor changes and is expected to feature a new grille, new bumpers and horizontal tail lamps instead of the vertical units on the Korean crossover. The interior shouldn't differ except for the quality and colours.

The Mahindra S201 will be available in petrol and diesel variants. The turbocharged gasoline motor will displace 1.2-litre and is likely to offer a good mix of performance and fuel efficiency. The compact SUV will receive the Marazzo's 1.5-litre oil burner that outputs 121 bhp and 300 Nm. It comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

The equipment list will include LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, electric sunroof, passive keyless entry, engine start-stop button, and a touchscreen infotainment system that is likely to support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

To comply with the stringent safety norms that come into effect from 1 April 2019, all variants of the S201 will offer driver's side airbag, ABS, Isofix child seat restraints, Speed Alert System, Seatbelt Reminder and reverse parking sensors as standard features.

The Mahindra S201 should launch at a starting price of INR 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol variant.

Love or hate the designs, you just can't ignore the Mahindra!!

Bl**dy 120 bhp from a 1.5L, sub 4m car!!!! That's new in the industry. 6 speed transmission & sun roof - take my cheque!!! The only thing I don't like is the 17 inch wheels. Now, this is disruptive - this is how you gate crash the party!! This is exactly how the XUV became a hit - bring in a VFM product with segment first features.
