| ![]() Unfortunately it is not. Atleast from the details in their webpage for the Kamiq. http://www.skoda-auto.com/news/news-detail/kamiq I always felt the Yeti to be short in height. Wonder how small this is going to look on Indian streets. OT: It's good for handling though with a car like Dynamics. |

The exterior of the Kamiq is characterised by a wide radiator grille with double slats and distinct lines on the bonnet. It also features a compact side view, with large wheels measuring 16 to 18 inches and split LED headlights with daytime running lights. The car is 4,241 mm long and 1,793 mm wide and has a height of 1,531 mm. The wheelbase measures 2,651 mm. This is especially beneficial for the rear passengers who can enjoy 73 mm of knee room. This is what I found in Skoda storyboard website about Kamiq China : With compact dimensions, the new ŠKODA KAMIQ is presented with a spacious interior typical of the brand. The body is 4,390 mm long, 1,781 mm wide and 1,593 mm high; the wheelbase is 2,610 millimetres. The mainstream city SUV is powered by a newly developed 1.5-litre petrol engine with 81 kW and a torque of up to 150 Nm. The ŠKODA KAMIQ is coupled with an automatic transmission and rolls up on 17-inch alloy wheels. Attaching some pictures that I found on a quick search - New Kamiq ![]() ![]() Kamiq -China ![]() ![]() Seems like the new Kamiq is one generation ahead. ( Sorry for the low quality pictures.) | ![]() Given how short it is, this is going to look a lot like the first generation BMW X1 and the Mercedes GLA, i. e., more of a station wagon look than an SUV. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Here is a short review video of the new Kamiq by Mat. The design of the cap of windscreen washer tank shown in video is simply clever and unfortunately the only thing that I liked in the car. |

| ![]() VW Group seems to have received Rs. 500 Cr fine from NGT. Here is the story https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...ive_share_tray Wow, that is a huge fine. I wonder how it would effect the brand's operation in India. |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() Volkswagen is considering CNG-powered Vehicles for India. With diesels being ruled out for their smaller cars , the group is now shifting its focus on the CNG-powered cars which is, in their consideration, a potential option for the Indian auto space.
