Also the pricing seems juicy - around 4.48 for petrol and 5.47 for diesel (probably ex-showroom)

i also happened to see this news cast on ndtv just now. the logan looks good, though i could not notice the interiors much. the front looks like the accent crdi viva with vertical grille (if i am not wrong with my memory).

The competition starts now!

4.48 for a base Logan petrol as opposed to 4.76 for a 1.3 loaded Ford Ikon Flair.

hmmm....

I think I would pass on the Logan and go for the Ford anyday.

Only the 1.6 fully loaded where i faltered.

I read a slightly deviated price in Zee news

"Mumbai, April 03: Spicing up competition in the entry-level sedan segment, French auto major Renault today launched Logan in the Indian market through its joint venture partner Mahindra and Mahindra.

I tried surfing the site. Its got too much load time and is very slow. Surprisingly I dont find it all that bad looking maybe a bit boxy but just my opinion. What I am interested in are the on road prices

Even i was trying to go through the site. Really slow, and takes ages to load. The gallery pics seem nice though. Couldnt go through all the site contents.

looks like a nice price - but high compared to diesel Indigo. I understand its a bigger car. Boot space of 510 ltrs sounds yummy. 65 bhp looks barely adequate on a car of this size, hope its at least torquey enough.

I need to check out the car in person. Test drives TBHP veterans?

Somehow I didnt like it. Mahindra, Congrats...You Just lost on 1 Customer. I Guess they should have kept the bumper with some black portion, it would have looked trendier

No ABS on any model as per the website, though driver side airbag is there in the DLS/GLS models!!!

First point that jumped out fro the spec was the incredably low ground clearance - 155 mm!!!
