Hi, Do long term parking available at Mumbai domestic terminal?
Sorry to ask as I did not find any concrete information from their website.

I am staying in Pune and have a flight to catch from Mumbai at 11 AM on Thursday. will be back on Saturday 6 PM, around 60 hrs of parking.

Considering cabs would charge me around 6000/- both way (travelling with family), wondering driving down and park for these 2 days.

Any information and suggestions on the rates and facility and experience from BHPians who would have used the service would be highly appreciated.

It is a lame question, but I am using Mumbai domestic airport after a long long time, nearly after 8 years. So ideally when should I reach to catch a 11 AM domestic air india flight?
Also, I am staying in Kharadi and have to cover the whole Pune city to reach express way. Considering I will face morning office time rush are both Pune and Mumbai, can I assume 4 hours commute time with a sedate drive not crossing 80 kmph on e way?

So did you finally manage to find a long term parking space at Mumbai Domestic Airport?

I am in the same boat. Would be traveling for 2 days to New Delhi.

When I used to travel to Gurgaon and Mumbai for reviews, I used to park my car in the parking lot and take it after 2 days. The charge per hour was Rs. 50 and subsequently every hour will be charged (I don't remember correctly).

There used to be a note in the ticket stating "if ticket is lost, then the bearer is liable to pay Rs 250 fine. When I return I used to tell them I lost the ticket, pay Rs 250 and leave. Cab charges for home to airport round trip would be about Rs 1000. Used to save about 800 bucks . This is till about a year and a half before

I do not travel now hence I do not know the exact charges as of now.

I park my car at Ahmedabad airport. It is about Rs 340 for 24 hours.

They put some chalk marks on tyres to differentiate the overnight parked cars.

Not exactly. I am preferring other mode of transport to Mumbai airport now a days.

Is it safe to park my car at the Bangalore Airport for 5 days? Its coming out cheaper than the cab at 300 INR for first day and 200 per day for subsequent days.

I have parked for an extended weekend more than a couple of times and did not have any issues. I make sure to park it as close to the airport as possible, so that it's always crowded and there is plenty of light as well.

I recently used the long-term parking at KIAL/BIAL for a couple of days. I found a spot next to a tree, the first one in that row, so parked close to the kerb on one side There were no issues and the car was untouched.
Again as @crazrydriver mentioned, the row where I parked was close to the terminal and had sufficient lights all around

*Also note that if you have others traveling with you, it is better to directly park at the Long-term Parking lot and then pick up a trolley and walk up to the terminal as you would unnecessarily lose time dropping others at the terminal and then driving back to the parking lot.

I use BIAL/KIAL's long term parking almost every week without any issues whatsoever. My preference is to park it slightly away from the hustle and bustle but in a well lit place.

Reason for the former is that the areas near to the terminal building are constantly in use with cars coming in and leaving continuously. This makes the chances of scratches much higher. Plus I detest the steel trolleys as they very easily make dents/scratches on car doors.

Agree, I parked on the second row from the terminal side, more lighting all around and did feel safer as it's away from the trolleys that are just beside the first row of cars

I use BIAL's long term parking quite regularly now for 1/2 day travel as its more convienient & cheaper. In morning time though - i struggle to find parking spot sometimes with the lot full of cabs.

Also - i believe the rate was hiked recently to 250 a day.

I parked my car last week for a couple of days - i remember paying 550. I think they have raised per day rate to 250 - had been updated on the boards in the parking as well.

I do not rely on Uber/Ola for early morning airport drops. I have my share of bad experiences with pre-booking Ola.
I book a Meru Airport Taxi a day in advance and have found them to be 100% reliable.
