I guess the teaser also gives away that the bottom part of the dashboard will have a beige colour unlike indigo blue in Baleno.

I think Toyota has put in a lot more effort into the Baleno/Glanza this time around compared to the previous models, reason being the interiors! The dashboard of the Glanza with the beige and black dual tone effect look very similar to Toyota’s own Corolla and Corolla Cross dashboards.

I think those executives at Toyota are quite attached to the beige and black dual tone, here is one in one the Toyota Etios

TBH I really didnt like this color combo on the Etios because it looks more like skin tone, and preferred my older grey interior. But I think that grey and black dual tone on the Corolla Cross looks great.

And Toyota did it again! They made a Maruti that looks better than a Maruti with the Brezza-UC, and now this Glanza too, looks pretty cool when compared to the 2022 Baleno!
The more details on these, and more I get excited about the 2022 Brezza-UC! Because if these are so good, can't imagine how much better will those be!

Much to learn from Toyota and Suzuki! Set expectations low by copy pasting the first iteration. Slap your standard exterior and interior on the second iteration to make it look radically different (I fell for it too going wow when I saw this picture).

The only non-Toyota in the picture is the XUV500.

Also, if Toyota wants to maintain the taxi segment sales, this is not a bad thing, but just another advertisement that most taxi owners prefer Toyota!

Toyota Glanza update:

- Toyota will launch the updated Glanza on March 15.

- Will be offered in four trims: E, G, S, and V.

- To get a similar colour palette as the facelifted Baleno, save for the beige shade.

- Will be powered by the Baleno’s 90PS 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine.

- Will feature a 360-degree camera, connected car tech, and a 9-inch touchscreen.

- Expected to be priced from Rs 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Unlike the pre-facelift model that was sold in only two trims (G and V), the facelifted Glanza will be available in four: E (new), G, S (new), and V.

the lineup will be in this exact order, considering all trims, save for the base-spec E, get an optional automatic transmission, much like the Maruti Baleno.

Toyota will offer the new Glanza in five shades: white, silver, grey, red, and blue. All five are the same as the Baleno, but the Glanza will miss out on the beige option, which the Maruti gets.

Inside, the new Glanza will sport a three-tone black and beige layout with a piano black insert for the dashboard

Awesome, I would like to use Toyota's tag line. If this is what it looks like then its probably the best looking hatchback in the market right now.

While its sales probably wont go anywhere near other hatchbacks, I think it will bring more people into Toyota showrooms

Front end is heavily inspired by the Camry, will have to say the face looks way better than the Baleno. Also better front camera positioning (perfectly centered below the logo) compared to the Baleno (a bit to the left of their logo)

PS: Gaadiwaadi has cleverly rotated the one half of the face they got to give a full look, the wiper spindles look very funny including the ORVMs

I like the lower bumper, but the Eonish top part is a let down.
