Toyota Glanza, Urban Cruiser facelift to be launched this year

The Glanza seems to have a Corolla type face. The slight beige interior also seems good. It will give a Baleno buyer an option over the Maruti's interiors. Considering that Suzuki's are quite close to being reliable as a Toyotas it will uphold the T badge well. Not sure how the AMT will fare though. But I would have loved it if Toyota had given it a hybrid makeover.

It would have been really interesting if Toyota had a TRD Sportivo variant with the 1.5 liter engine. Toyota-Suzuki partnership is a dream match of volumes and profits! If such an alliance doesn't want to take some risks in the market, I wonder who will!!

I wish they had given the now discontinued Yaris such a facelift, it might have done wonders to the sales numbers.
But then I also think that behind the scenes, this facelift comes from the Suzuki factory. And that Toyota India may not have the ability to do local facelift and depended on parent co in this department.

The image only has the dashboard, first and second rows. Look again closely.

I think Baleno looks better than this with new grill. This looks old school. Toyota has gone safe with new design.

Toyota is offering a warranty of 3 years/100,000 km with the option to opt for an extended warranty of up to 5 years/220,000 km.

This is certainly a better attempt by Toyota at differentiating Glanza from Baleno.
The interior colour combination looks much better than that of Baleno, I would for that only pay the price premium.

Darker shades are doing better in hiding the bull-horn like plastic on the bumper, which is looking a bit off considering the rest of front is having a non-aggressive design. But overall a good attempt to differentiate it from the new Baleno.
