You are talking about my or my car's fuel efficiency. Just kidding. The car I drive at present is Maruti Suzuki Swift that gives an excellent fuel efficiency of nearly 10 kmpl in city. I am much happy with that.

BTW why is there a difference in Zen D and Di - I thought the only difference was the power steering, same TUD5 engine isn't it?
Yes both did come with the same TUD5 engines but my 2003 Di was way more refined and fuel efficient than my 1998 D. I am not sure but my MASS tells me that FIP on them were different.

Palio 1.6 S10: Highway Mileage

In the recent trip to Shimoga from Bangalore, I was really surprised at the mileage given by my Palio 1.6 S10. Most of times I fill full tank and approx 42L of petrol go in.

I tanked up night before the drive and here is a picture of half tank empty and 343 Kms done with just 10% AC on and moderate speeds of 80-100 and occasional bursts to catch up.
What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?-img_0401.jpg

Amazing because in City driving the ful tank lasts just approx 360Kms.

Am very pleasantly surprised as this roughly translates to

343 kms/ 23 L (taking a conservative view) = 14.91 KM/L

The best I have ever got previously was approx 12-13KM/L

PS: The picture has not been taken by the driver.
